The “Residents of the Future” project brought together smaller European cities facing population decline. Through the project, Trebinje produced an Integrated Action Plan — a holistic document aimed at improving quality of life, attracting new talent, demographic revitalisation and sustainable urban growth.
The plan was presented in December 2025 and rests on four pillars, including digitalisation of public administration, digitalisation of agriculture and process automation. The results were also showcased at the project’s final event in Mantua, Italy.
